The semi-height privacy screen without intermediate shelves offers a planting area of 0.57 m² with a footprint of just 0.32 m² and a capacity of approx. 150 litres of soil. INALTO is proven to be stable (34 kg INALTO + 150 kg wet soil) and can also be anchored to the ground using the 9 mm holes in the feet or can be weighted down with plates. If a drainage layer is filled in as recommended and not watered massively, water seepage in the floor area is limited. The floor is slightly raised and drains water to the left and right to prevent waterlogging. A standard plant tray (117 x 40 x 5 cm) can be placed underneath as additional floor protection.

Good to know: INALTO's added value is the lack of intermediate floors. This results in a large continuous area in which even deep-rooted plants such as potatoes can grow happily. And yes, that's intentional! The continuous surface retains moisture much better and saves precious water. Heat is distributed evenly and released slowly. Your plants are thus optimally supplied. So don't be surprised that only one base is supplied. When filling, it is best to stop a finger's breadth below the edge of the tray, compact the soil or allow it to settle for a few days. The soil will still slide a little and may need to be topped up before planting. Do not fill right up to the edge, as otherwise water can spill over the sloping chutes during enthusiastic watering and carry loose soil with it. 

Our regionally sourced Lake Constance Douglas fir is resistant to weather and environmental influences and is naturally fungus and insect resistant. If you want to avoid the wood turning grey, it is best to oil the wood regularly to preserve the colour. 

 

No waste: The Douglas fir can be easily composted at the end of its life if left unpainted. The steel is 100% recyclable and can be returned to the material cycle.
